Cole Permenter
Senior Pastor
Pastor Cole has served as the Senior Pastor of Bluff Creek since 2015. Don't think Cole is a stranger to Bluff Creek - he served as Youth Pastor here from 2012 until 2014.
After graduating from Louisiana Tech with an undergraduate degree in Communication he headed to New Orleans Baptist where he finished his Masters of Divinity and struck up a relationship with his now wife, Rikki, in an evangelism class. They have now been married 15 years and have served together stateside and abroad. They have two spunky daughters - Hudson James & Magnolia.
A man of many interest, he is a retired MMA fighter, avid surfer & golfer, a paddle boarding pioneer on the Amite, a scuba enthusiast, and woodworker.
Before serving at Bluff Creek Cole served previously as a pastor in churches in Louisiana and Hawaii.
Conner McDonald
Youth Minister
Conner has served as minister to our youth since 2021. He and his wife Aidan are from North Louisiana and moved to this area for Aidan to attend LSU. Conner is a graduate of Leavell College and is now a student at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Conner and Aidan have been married a couple of years and have two precious dogs they would love for you to meet.

Children's Ministry team
Julie Stevens is our Children’s Time leader during the Sunday Morning Service. She was born and raised in Clinton, Louisiana. She lives there with her husband of over twenty years, Joey, and their two teenage children, Jackson and D’Lanie. Joey and Julie began attending Bluff Creek Baptist Church in 1998. She currently serves as Principal of Central Intermediate School in Central, Louisiana. Julie’s heart has always been with children and enjoys building relationships with the children of Bluff Creek Baptist and teaching them about God’s word. Julie has a deep love for the people of Bluff Creek Baptist.
Ashleigh Pierce heads up our Kids@thecreek program and ensures our curriculum and activities are in line with our vision for discipleship at Bluff Creek Baptist. She is in no way new to Bluff Creek Baptist was raised as the daughter of a previous youth minister here. She is married to Denver and they have four kids, Berlin, Ryker, Ruth, and Gabriel. She is committed to homeschooling & discipling her kiddos and is deeply invested in discipling the rest of our church’s kiddos, as well.
Music Ministry team
These are the faces you’ll see on Sunday mornings on the stage, behind the piano, and behind the sound booth leading us in worship. Each Sunday we have a different combination of people who are using their musical gifts for God’s glory and our enjoyment.

CHURCH TREASURER
Jackie was born and raised in the Bluff Creek Community and been a member of the church for over 45 years! Over the years Jackie has worked on several committees, been a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher and has made many trips with the Youth as a Counselor. She has three beautiful children: Kaitlin married to Eric Harrison and her twin sons Parker and Preston. Our church is honored to have such a dedicated lady to serve as our church treasurer.
Church Secretary
Janice McNabb was born and raised in Bluff Creek. She has been married to Allen since 1978. They have two daughters, Alison and Jamie. Allison is married to Ben Cutrer and Jamie is married to Tim Ward. Allison has three children Hayden, Hudson and Harrison Cutrer. Janice enjoys spending time with her family and friends but her most precious joy comes from playing with her grandchildren and watching them grow. She has been the secretary at Bluff Creek Baptist Church for over 30 years and she loves it.
